Aira Euro Automation manufacturer and exporter of Single Acting Pneumatic Actuator. It works on the Rack and Pinion Type transmission method. This single acting pneumatic actuator’s Body is made from Extruded Aluminium Hard Anodized, and Caps and Rack made from Aluminium Pressure Die Cast. We used EN 8 for Pinion and BUNA – N / VITON for Seals. This single acting actuator designed as per ISO 5211 for that actuator keeps mounting quickly and easily. The normal Air supply pressure for this actuator is 4Kg/cm2 and the maximum Air supply pressure is 7Kg/cm2. It is available in 90°/ 180° rotation with up to 6356NM torque.
Mechanism
This single acting pneumatic rotary actuator has one central skewed shaft (Pinion) and two spring connected pistons with skew ends (Rack). When pressurized air enters in an actuator, the pistons move away from the central shaft, and the shaft gets rotational movement because shaft skews (Pinion) & piston skews (Rack) are connected. When the flow of pressurized air, the springs on the other side of the shaft send back pistons to their original position, and this time also Pinion gets rotational movement because of Racks.
In this one cycle of pistons’ movement, the shaft gets two rotational movements in only a one-time entrance of pneumatic air. So it is called a single-acting pneumatic rotary actuator.
Where to Use a Single Acting Pneumatic Actuator?
This single acting pneumatic actuator provides rotary motion and this product is available for 90° or 180° rotation. So it is useful to operate valves, automatic manufacturing, clamping work, etc. These pneumatic actuators are allowing hands-free operation so there is no requirement for the manual operator and work smoothly even in a hazardous environment. This is also useful for flammable conditions as it provides a spark-free action.
We are SIL 3, ATEX, ERAD, and CE approved Single Acting Pneumatic Rotary Actuator manufacturer and exporter in India. We export our products to 30+ countries around the world including European Countries, African Countries, Gulf Countries, Asian Countries, and many other Indian ocean Countries.
